In folklore the white stag represents the delivery of an important message or a time of great change. The colour white represents innocence.

During lockdown 2021, a rare white stag appeared in Bootle, UK, and was eventually shot after evading capture. To me this felt like the most fitting symbol of lockdown, a time of freedom curtailed and great weirdness, so I created this design as a memorial to the stag inspired by the Rider-Waite tarot deck.

This Giclée Art Print is available in A5 (14.81 x 21.01 cm/ 5.8" x 8.3") and A4 (21 x 30cm/ 8.3" x 11.7") sizes and is printed on archival quality 189 gsm matte paper using high quality pigment inks for longevity. Signed, un-numbered.

Printed to order, please allow 3-5 days for delivery.

Please note this print is sold unmounted and unframed.

Protecting the environment is an important part of my creative practice. All prints are shipped in recyclable envelopes backed with 100% recycled grey cardboard backing to protect your purchase.

All my prints are packaged in biodegradable bags made in the UK from NATIVIA® film that has been accredited to EN 13432 and ‘OK biobased’. They are made from Plant Based (annually renewable) PLA derived from vegetable starches (cornstarch) and are compostable and biodegradable. Biodegradation occurs at end of life once exposed to moisture, heat and naturally occurring bacteria / fungi when it will break down into compost (not micro plastics). Biodegrading will occur in home composting but the process is quicker in commercial composting due to the higher temperature conditions.
